Local body campaigns for the new Auckland super city council are now well underway.
Although Envisage Design is now based in the South Island of New Zealand, we have extremely strong roots in the north and this has been proven by non-other than an extremely effective branding rollout for the North Now ticket.
The new North Now logo and stricking billboard designs are proving a real stand-out from the usual crowd of dusty-looking and run-of-the-mill campaign messages. Well done North Now on chossing a design studio to address an important message for an important decision for the people of Auckland city.
After the Local Body Election and when the Super City comes into play, Auckland will be divided in to 13 different wards, with 21 local boards.
North Now is an independent group committed to advancing the interests of people on the North Shore and in North Harbour by ensuring that the Auckland Council:
- Spends rates wisely and ensures that North Shore and North Harbour resources are not diverted to subsidise council services elsewhere in the region.
- Focuses on core services only, avoiding unnecessary social spending and/or duplication of services provided by central government.
- Encourages region-wide development, especially roads and another harbour crossing, by operating efficient consent, planning and other regulatory processes.
- Trims waste and duplication, not least councillors’ and officers’ overseas travel such as that involved in sister-city programmes.
